Work with numbers expands mental horizons, artistic taste, and vision: The Mental Arithmetic First International Olympiad opened with the statement of the spouse of the President of Armenia Nouneh Sarkissian

Spouse of the President of Armenia Nouneh Sarkissian was present today at the opening of the Mental Arithmetic International Olympiad which is held in Armenia for the first time.
“I am glad you that engage in mental arithmetic. It is our future. I am also glad you use your brains and intellect in struggling with numbers,” Nouneh Sarkissian said in particular in her opening remarks and congratulated children and their parents.

The spouse of the President stressed the importance of training children to work with numbers through games from the very young age. “Mental arithmetic helps train children’s brains which is very important for the development of the younger generation’s intellectual abilities. Work with numbers expands mental horizons, artistic taste, and vision,” Mrs. Sarkissian said.
