The Yerevan State Puppet Theatre staged 'Tzuk-Mzuk' fairy-tale by Mrs. Nouneh Sarkissian

Based on the book "Tzuk-Mzuk" by Nouneh Sarkissian, the wife of the President of the Republic, the play of the same name was staged at the Yerevan State Puppet Theatre.

This is the second performance based on the books by children's writer Nouneh Sarkissian at the Puppet Theatre. Since 2017, the young spectators of the theatre have the opportunity to watch the staging of the author's fairy-tale "The Bald Hedgehog."

On October 3, Nouneh Sarkissian, the wife of the President of the Republic, was present at the performance "Tzuk-Mzuk" shown at the Puppet Theatre.

The play is a unique story about choosing good instead of evil, honesty, friendship, family love and care.

According to the conception of Anna Elbakyan, the chief director of the theatre, who staged the performance, classical music sounds during the performance, an approach used in "The Bald Hedgehog" as well. This aims at instilling love of classical music in children at an early age and teaching them to perceive and love what is right, beautiful, and tasteful.

Anna Elbakyan noted that they had worked thoroughly and earnestly for a long time on the staging of the play "Tzuk-Mzuk."

"We love Nouneh Sarkissian's fairy-tales very much because they have a special delicacy. The texts have a unique philosophy, which is typical of the best storytellers. Even adults take something with them after the performance," said Anna Elbakyan.

At the end of the performance "Tzuk-Mzuk," the small audience, as well as the authors and participants of the play, were photographed with Mrs. Nouneh Sarkissian.
