Mrs. Nouneh Sarkissian visited the Sharjah Institute for Heritage

Mrs. Nouneh Sarkissian visited also the Sharjah Institute for Heritage and met with the Director, Dr. AbdulazizAl-Musallam.

Mrs. Sarkissian toured the Institute, familiarized with restoration works on ancient books and manuscripts. She said that Armenia has excellent specialists in this area, and the Sharjah Institute for Heritage can successfully cooperate with the Matenadaran in Yerevan.

At the meeting, the parties discussed also Armenia’s participation to the annual traditional cultural Sharjah festival, where the historical and cultural heritage of our country can be presented, particularly, national traditions, traditional wear, dances, and cuisine.
