Address by President Serzh Sargsyan on the 2nd international scientific-practical conference on “Offering Traditional and Innovative Solutions to the Problems of Executive Proceedings”

Dear participants of the conference,

I welcome you on the occasion of the 2nd international scientific-practical conference on “Offering Traditional and Innovative Solutions to the Problems of Executive Proceedings.”

The second conference on the issues of executive proceedings held by the Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement Service in Armenia bears testimony to the fact that our country pays close attention to promoting international cooperation and interstate contacts in this sphere and is consistent in exchanging progressive experience with the help of organizing and holding such events in various formats.

The involvement of the representatives of the International Union of Judicial Officers and corresponding services of a number of countries in the conference points both to the contemporaneity of the topic and the mutual interest in discussing structural and institutional issues pertaining to the sphere and looking for possible solutions.

There is no need to justify or prove what significance timely and proper enforcement of judicial and administrative acts bears for both the state and the society. Today the Judiciary Acts Compulsory Enforcement Service has made an essential contribution to promoting a culture of lawfulness and strengthening law and order in the Republic of Armenia and ensuring civil rights enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and guaranteed by laws.

The adoption of up-to-date technologies by compulsory enforcement officers and the efforts aimed at introduction of new working methods and styles are the guarantees for further achievements and progress.
