The Ambassador of Mauritania to Armenia presented his credentials to the President of the Republic

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to Armenia Deman Mohamed Hamar presented his credentials to President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan.

President Vahagn Khachaturyan congratulated the Ambassador and wished him success. "Armenia and Mauritania have all prerequisites for cooperation. I hope your appointment will contribute to the development of relations between our two countries, and we stand ready to provide you full support in this matter," the President said.

The newly appointed Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the reception and noted that he would do everything possible to further expand and develop bilateral relations.

The sides discussed issues related to identifying the potential of cooperation and the possibilities of its implementation in areas of interest to both countries at the meeting.

Both sides stressed the importance of further stimulating cooperation existing within the framework of various international organizations and on similar platforms.

During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the steps being taken towards enhancing cooperation in political, economic, cultural-educational and other spheres.
