President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia Muhammedgeldi Ayazov.
Greeting the guest, the President noted that relations between Armenia and Turkmenistan have been developing dynamically for more than three decades, and expressed hope for further expansion and deepening of partnership between the two countries.
At the beginning of his speech, Ambassador Muhammedgeldi Ayazov extended President Vahagn Khachaturyan the invitation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to take part in the upcoming international conference of Heads of State and Government in October this year dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Turkmen thinker and poet Makhtumkuli Fraga.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on further expansion of cooperation in trade- economic, cultural-educational and other spheres. Both sides stressed the need to intensify steps to strengthen the existing partnership and form new ties between the business circles of the two countries.
