The President of the Republic had a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of Nigeria

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan had a farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nigeria to Armenia Yakubu Santuraki Suleiman.

The president welcomed the Ambassador and expressed gratitude for his work throughout the diplomatic mission.

"I am convinced that the great work you did during your tenure was aimed at strengthening the friendship and development of relations between the peoples of Nigeria and Armenia. I am also hopeful that in the future we will be able to exercise the full potential of cooperation between our countries," President Khachaturyan noted.

Expressing his gratitude for the reception, the Ambassador highlighted that during his diplomatic service, he made efforts towards the exercise of the potential of partner relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to activating the cooperation between Armenia and Nigeria in high technologies, healthcare, tourism among other fields. The interlocutors touched upon the prospects of development of cooperation in fields and directions of mutual interest.

In his speech, the President underscored that Armenia and Nigeria cooperate effectively on various international platforms and expressed hope that the two countries will consistently develop bilateral agendas.
