President Vahagn Khachaturyan participated in the “Hero of Our Times” award ceremony

On the evening of December 28, President Vahagn Khachaturyan participated in the "Hero of Our Time" award ceremony at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan.

In his speech, the President congratulated all the awardees and hailed the fact that even during these tough times, an opportunity was created to hold this award ceremony. The President particularly said:

“It is a great honor for me to be here today, as I have an opportunity to present awards to such people who create today’s and tomorrow’s Armenia. In the global competition of today, the countries that value freedom, thought, and creativity, are and will be the ones to succeed. Today, we are here to sum up the 2022 successes or ideas, which we've singled out in this list of 13 winners.

My congratulations to all the awardees. I also congratulate us all, for today, under these difficult circumstances, we had the courage to hold this event. We must keep going like this. We will face difficulties, yet this is the way of overcoming them.

We are obliged to appreciate all those who truly contribute to the creation of today's and tomorrow's Armenia.”

The President presented an award to Mihran Petrosyan, who founded "PoGo shoes" shoe production in Gyumri.
