President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the former President of Switzerland Micheline Calmy-Rey

President Vahagn Khachaturyan had a working dinner with the former President of the Swiss Confederation, Micheline Calmy-Rey. The Projects Director of Global Leadership Foundation, Amitav Banerji, was also present at the meeting.

During the meeting, President Khachaturyan provided detailed information on the current security challenges in South Caucasus and the general situation. The President emphasized that Armenia is firm in its position of establishing peace in the region, which, however, faces impediments in the face of Azerbaijan's periodic acts of aggression.

The sides exchanged ideas on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the current stage of Armenian –Turkish dialogue and the prospects of normalizing the relations.
