The newly appointed Ambassador of Sri Lanka presented her credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturian

Today the newly appointed Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Republic of Armenia Janitha Abeywickrama Liyanage (residence in Moscow) presented her credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturian.

President Khachaturian congratulated the ambassador on the occasion of assuming the office and wished her productive work, aimed at the further development of bilateral relations.

Ambassador Armenia Janitha Abeywickrama Liyanage stressed that she will spare no effort in the further development of bilateral relations and activation of ties between the two countries.

The interlocutors agreed that there is a significant potential for cooperation in the fields of tourism, trade, education, culture, science and advanced technologies.
