President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, who is on a state visit to Italy, today held a farewell meeting with President of Italy Sergio Mattarella at the Residence of the President of Italy, the Quirinal Palace.

The Presidents once again emphasized the high level of the Armenian-Italian relations, and noted that both countries have many common interests, a great potential for cooperation and a great desire to continuously strengthen bilateral friendship.

After the conversation, an official farewell ceremony took place with the President of Armenia and his delegation.
