The President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian sent a telegram of condolences on the death of Krikor Bedros XX Kaproyan, the Catholicos-Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church

In particular, the telegram says:

“The loss is too great for Armenia and the Armenians all over the world, because in his person, the Armenian people lost a faithful servant of the Catholic Church, a prominent and patriotic national figure, who served the church and the people with great devotion, inexhaustible energy and faith. Of great significance are the Catholicos-Patriarch's personal efforts aimed at preserving Armenian identity and developing comprehensive ties between the Homeland and the Diaspora.
