On the occasion of Independence Day, President Armen Sarkissian received congratulations from the President of Israel

On the occasion of Independence Day, President Armen Sarkissian received congratulations from the President of the State of Israel Reuven Rivlin. On behalf of the State and people of Israel he conveyed his congratulations and good wishes to President Sarkissian and people of Armenia.

“This year celebrations, unfortunately, are taking place under the conditions created by the coronavirus pandemic. Please allow me to express solidarity with all those who lost their loved ones and those who recovered. I wish you and the people of Armenia health and fortitude.

Israel highly values friendship with Armenia and is striving to work together in the areas of mutual interest for the benefit of the two nations. This year, our relations have made another step forward with the opening for the first time of an embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Israel. We welcome this decision of the government of Armenia. I am confident that we can expect that in coming years bilateral relations between our countries and cooperation will continue to strengthen and broaden,” the message of the President of Israel reads.
