Estonia sent assistance to Children of Armenia Fund for the fight against the pandemic: Presidents of Armenia and Estonia has a phone conversation

President Armen Sarkissian had today a phone conversation with the President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid.

The Presidents exchanged information on the situation with the coronavirus pandemic in both countries, measures to prevent and contain it, and discussed opportunities of cooperation in the fight against the virus.

President Sarkissian thanked the President of Estonia for providing 30,000 Euros to the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) which will be channeled toward the fight against the pandemic and acquisition of the necessary medical equipment.

The Presidents of Armenia and Estonia spoke also about the development of bilateral relations, stressing in particular existing great potential for cooperation in the areas of technologies, artificial intelligence, science, technology, and education, including cooperation in the framework of the Presidential ATOM initiative. In this context, it was noted that the forthcoming visit of President Armen Sarkissian to Estonia this fall will give a new impetus to the deepening of cooperation between the two friendly states.
