President Armen Sarkissian responded to the letter of the Governor General of Canada: consequences of the pandemic will be possible to overcome through cooperation and joint efforts

President Armen Sarkissian sent a response letter to the Governor General of Canada Julie Payette and thanked her for the words of encouragement addressed to the President and the Armenian people.

“This is probably the most complicated times the world has been going through in recent decades and which affected the global community. I believe, joint steps should be taken to mitigate the economic damage caused by the pandemic and to restore the situation. Consequences of the pandemic will be possible to overcome only through cooperation and joint efforts. Thus, in this situation, joint efforts, exchange of experience, and mutual assistance are critical,” the President of Armenia noted in particular in his letter.

He also expressed condolences to Governor General Julie Payette and the friendly people of Canada on the tragic incident which took place days ago in Nova Scotia province of the country.
