President Armen Sarkissian received Ombudsman of Armenia Arman Tatoyan

President Armen Sarkissian received today the Human Rights Defender of Armenia Arman Tatoyan.

At the meeting discussed were issues related to the achievements of the Office of Ombudsman on the international arena and to the cooperation between the Presidential Administration and the Office of Ombudsman.

Arman Tatoyan informed in particular that in the relevant international structures the experience of the Ombudsman of Armenia has been acknowledged as advanced and through the assistance of international bodies it is being implemented in a number of countries.

President of Armenia stressed the role of the institute of Human Rights Defender and highlighted its energetic activities in all areas pertinent to human rights.
