President Armen Sarkissian visited the art studio of the sculptor Albert Vardanian in Akhurian.

The President observed the works of the sculptor and inquired about the yet unfinished pieces. The sculptor, who is working in the modern style, spoke about the symbolism of his works which is anchored in the idea of national unity. Works of the sculptor’s son Hrach Vardanian, which have already been exhibited in a number of international art salons, were also shown to the President.

The artists told President Sarkissian about their programs and exchanged views on the trends of the contemporary art.
