Award handing ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace: We all serve the purpose of forming the statehood culture

By the decree of the President of Armenia a number of representatives of arts, science, education, culture, sport, and some other areas were bestowed high state awards and honorary titles.

The award handing ceremony took place today at the Presidential Palace.

President Armen Sarkissian congratulated those present on the occasion of the Republic holiday and on receiving high state awards and honorary titles and noted that even though they represent different areas, all together serve once purpose – to form the statehood culture.

“With our spirit and heart, our entire mentality we need to serve not only the position we occupy but also the principle value which we were born for and live for, otherwise it all will be just service. Today you all represent us, our country, you are representatives of different areas, however in fact you all serve one common culture – the statehood culture,” the President of Armenia underscored.

The President used the opportunity to congratulate all those who fulfill their duty diligently, with love and bring creativity to their work and this way demonstrate their great love and dedication to Fatherland. “Allow me on behalf of us all to thank all those who work in arts, representatives of different areas, state employees who deserve state awards,” President Sarkissian noted and expressed hope that in the nearest future there would be a chance to thank many others for their dedication, creative work, and achievements.
