President Sarkissian received the Deputy Speaker of the Swedish Parliament Björn Söder

President Armen Sarkissian received today delegation headed by the Deputy Speaker of the Swedish Parliament (Rikstag) Björn Söder.

Welcoming the guests, the President of Armenia mentioned the high level of the Armenian-Swedish relations which stand out for their active political dialogue. He underscored the role of the parliament members in the furthering the interstate relations.
The President hailed the adoption by the Rikstag in 2010 of the resolution on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

The parties spoke also about cooperation in the framework of the Eastern Partnership as well as the importance of the ratification of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) by the EU member states and its implementation.
At the request of the guests, the President spoke also about the NK peace process conducted through the mediation of the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.
