Presidents of Armenia and Artsakh met with the Catholicos of All Armenians

On April 26, the President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian and President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakian visited the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin where they held a meeting with His Holiness Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II.
Present at the meeting were also bishops serving at the Mother See, leaders of the Armenian dioceses, and members of the Supreme Spiritual Councils.

On behalf of the spiritual circles, His Holiness expressed concern with the situation in the country. Catholicos Garegin II stressed the importance for the political processes stay tranquil and within the framework of the law.

The Presidents of Armenia and Artsakh spoke about the current situation and avenues to solve it.

The parties stressed the importance of upholding internal stability in Fatherland and strict adherence to the laws and Constitution in the process.
