President holds meeting on preparations for 6th Armenia-Diaspora conference

President Serzh Sargsyan held today a consultative meeting to discuss preparations for the Sixth Pan-Armenian Armenia-Diaspora Conference.

Stressing that the previous Armenia-Diaspora conference was held in 2014, and during these three years there had been tangible changes in both Armenia and various communities of the Diaspora - new challenges and opportunities have emerged - the President of the Republic expressed the view that the above circumstances should be comprehensively addressed during the forthcoming conference.

Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan introduced the forum’s program, over which the participants of the meeting presented their proposals and recommendations with a view to holding the conference at a high organizational level, including all the most important pan-Armenian issues on the agenda.

In conclusion, President Serzh Sargsyan issued corresponding instructions.
