President Serzh Sargsyan received Lithuania’s Minister of National Defense Juozas Olekas

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the delegation led by the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Lithuania Juozas Olekas.

Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the guest and stressed the importance of high-level reciprocal visits which according the president greatly contributed to the development of the bilateral relations. The interlocutors underscored that both parties sought to further reinforce the friendship and to enhance the cooperation in all mutually beneficial fields.

The President of Armenia and Lithuania’s Minister of National Defense discussed the Armenian-Lithuanian defense cooperation agenda, highly appreciated the present collaboration level between the two countries defense ministries and outlined the development prospects of future cooperation.

At the meeting, regional issues and challenges were also touched upon.
