President Serzh Sargsyan received the Minister of Defense of Georgia Irakli Alasania

President Serzh Sargsyan received today the Minister of Defense of Georgia Irakli Alasania who has arrived to Armenia of an official visit.

The President of Armenia welcomed the guest and underscored that Armenia is interested in further developing relations with Georgia; he said that visits of different levels considerably contribute to that.

Minister Irakli Alasania informed the President of Armenia on the results achieved at the meeting with his Armenian counterpart. At the meeting discussed were issues pertinent to the deepening of the cooperation in the military sphere between the two countries. Referring to the approaches and adopted policies of the Government of Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, Irakli Alasania stressed that development of the strategic relations with the brotherly Armenia is among Georgia’s priorities.
