Serzh Sargsyan participated at the end of the year sitting of the YSU Council

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Chairman of the Yerevan State University Council Serzh Sargsyan participated today at the end of the year sitting of the YSU Council.

At the meeting, the members of the Council discussed and approved the report of the Rector of the YSU regarding implemented works on the main directions of the University activities in 2011/2012 academic year. The members of the Council approved also the Rector’s reports regarding the implementation in 2011/2012 academic year of the anticorruption measures envisaged by the 2010-2014 YSU strategic plan of development. Activities of the University in 2011/2012 were assessed by the members of the Council as satisfactory.

The Council took also note of the YSU Rector Aram Simonian’s account on the revenues and expenditure in 2012 (January-November). The Council decided to approve it and to conduct the assessment of the report on the revenues and expenditure in the current year based on auditing. At the meeting, adopted was also the budget of the YSU for 2013.
