President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso will arrive to Yerevan

At the invitation of President Serzh Sargsyan, the President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso will arrive to Yerevan.

The President of the European Commission will hold meetings with the highest echelon of the Armenian leadership – President Serzh Sargsyan, Speaker of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamian, Prime Minister Tigran Sarkissian.

At the meeting with the President of Armenia, the parties will discuss a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including the Armenia-EU cooperation agenda and regional problems. President Serzh Sargsyan and the President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso will recap the results of the negotiations at the joint press conference on December 1.

In Yerevan, the President of the European Commission will participate at the Summit of the EPP Eastern Partnership leaders and will meet with the representatives of civil society.
