President Serzh Sargsyan received the Co-chair of the Armenian-Russian Interparliamentary Commission Nikolay Ryzhkov

President Serzh Sargsyan received today the member of the Federal Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Co-Chair of the Armenian-Russian Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the RA National Assembly and the Federal Assembly of RF Nikolay Ryzhkov and his delegation.

The President of Armenia welcomed the guests and hailed the personal contribution of the old and true friend of the Armenian people, National Hero of Armenia Nikolay Ryzhkov in the development of the Armenian-Russian partnership relations and further strengthening of the ties between the two friendly nations. He stressed his active and interested work as the Co-chair of the Armenian-Russian Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation.

The two sides spoke with satisfaction about the close cooperation of the parliamentarians of the two states in the framework of international organizations.

Nikolay Ryzhkov presented to Serzh Sargsyan the results of the 21st session of the Armenian-Russian Interparliamentary Commission held today in Yerevan, stressed the importance of the Commission's mission in strengthening and development of the relations not only between the Parliaments but the two countries in general.

Serzh Sargsyan wished success to the works of the Commission and expressed hope that led by the two Co-Chairs, the Armenian and Russian parliamentarians will continue to work with the same efficiency and engagement.
