President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree to conduct the 2012 fall draft and general release

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree to conduct the 2012 fall draft and general release.

According to the decree, it was decided to conduct in October-December, 2012 a mandatory military and alternative fall conscript of the male population of the Republic of Armenia who have become 18 years old before the day of the conscription as well as of those citizens who have lost their previously obtained right for deferral of the mandatory military service. It was also decided to conduct release in due time in the period of October-December, 2012 of those servicemen who have fulfilled their mandatory military service.

The Government of the Republic of Armenia was directed to adopt a corresponding decision for carrying out the decree after entering of the decree into force in a two-week period of time.
