President of the Republic of Austria Heinz Fischer arrived to Armenia on a two-day official visit

At the invitation of President Serzh Sargsyan, President of the Republic of Austria Heinz Fischer and Mrs. Marget Fischer arrived yesterday to Armenia on a two-day official visit.

Today, at the Presidential Palace there took place the official welcoming ceremony of the President of Austria which was followed by the negotiations of the two Presidents first in a restricted and then in the extended format.

The results of the negotiations between the Presidents of Armenia and Austria were summarized at the joint press conference. Before that, with the participation of the Presidents of the two states, the RA Minister of Finance and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria in the Republic of Armenia signed the agreement on the development of cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and Government of the Republic of Austria.
