President Serzh Sargsyan visited the Museum of Martiros Sarian

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan visited the Museum of Martiros Sarian, observed collection of his works which comprises different period’s of his artistic life and permanent exhibition displayed on the three stories of the Museum. President Sargsyan observed also the “Women in Sarian’s Art” exhibition which shows pieces not only from the M. Sarian Museum’s collection but also over forty works by the artist from the Armenian National Gallery, E. Charents Museum of Literature and Arts, and the private collection of the Sarian family.

During the visit, the President of Armenia was informed on the problems of the Museum related to the renovation, required construction works, store-room, archives, proper arrangement of a new exhibition and celebration of the 45th jubilee of the Museum on the appropriate level. The President of Armenia gave instructions for the resolution of the existing problems.
