President of RF Dmitry Medvedev congratulated President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of his birthday

Today, during the phone conversation between the two leaders, President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev congratulated President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of the latter’s birthday. The Russian President sent also a congratulatory message to the President of Armenia which states:

“Under your leadership Armenia is steadily moving toward state building, social and economic reforms, strengthening of its position on the international arena. Armenia’s stable and gradual advancement has rightfully built You the reputation of an influential politician.

Your personal input to the development of the Armenian-Russian partnership inspires great respect. I highly value the atmosphere shaped during our regular and efficient contacts which is conducive to constructive discussions on the wide range of issues of our bilateral and regional agenda.

I am confident that our determination to deepen multifaceted interstate relations and develop economic ties, close coordination in the framework of regional formations is an important factor for the further strengthening of the Armenian-Russian strategic partnership and preservation of peace and stability in Transcaucasia.”
