President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree to appoint members of the National Commission on Television and Radio
Guided by the RA Law on Television and Radio, President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree to appoint Zhirair Dadassian, Harutyun Harutyunian, Vladimir Ohanian members of the National Commission on Television and Radio (for a six-year term).
According to the rules of competition to fill the vacancies at the Public TV and Radio Council and at the National Commission on Television and Radio, prior to the Presidential decree, the commission, which was set up on April 21, 2011 by the Presidential directive, examined documents of seven contestants and decided on the winners. Zhirair Dadassian, Harutyun Harutyunian, Vladimir Ohanian were declared the winners by the Commission, considering the candidates’ extensive work experience in the area of journalism, particularly, on television, as well as their considerable achievements and success in promoting journalism.
