The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to Armenia presented his credentials to President Sargsyan
Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana to Armenia Set Korantegi (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.
The President of Armenia congratulated the new Ambassador on his appointment and expressed hope that during his tenure the Armenian-Ghanaian relations will develop. Noting that the two countries maintain political dialogue in the framework of the UN, President Sargsyan stressed the importance of bilateral, as well as multilateral cooperation.
The Ambassador of Ghana assessed as promising cooperation with Armenia in the areas of diamond processing, agriculture, industry and other areas of mutual interest. He also noted that in April his country will be conducting a business conference in Moscow and he would be happy if it is attended also by the representatives of Armenia. According to the Ambassador of Ghana, the forum will provide an additional opportunity to the businessmen to learn about each other’s potential and find common field for cooperation.
