The President of Armenia, Commander-in-Chief Serzh Sargsyan conducted a traditional visit to the defense lines of our country
On the occasion of New Year and Christmas holidays, the President of Armenia, Commander-in-Chief Serzh Sargsyan conducted a traditional visit to the defense lines of our country.
First, Serzh Sargsyan visited Aygehovit border village, conversed with the villagers, congratulated them with the forthcoming holidays, and inquired about the problems existing in the village. President Sargsyan stressed once again that the border villages and their inhabitants were the natural defenders of our borders and would continue to receive special attention from the state.
The Commander-in-Chief Serzh Sargsyan visited the defense lines, observed change of combat watch at the positions, talked to the troops, and inquired about their social and living conditions. The President awarded with watches over a dozen of troops, who served diligently, bravely, and stalwartly.
The President of Armenia congratulated with the approaching holidays and wished the best to all our military men and expressed gratitude for their devoted service. Commander-in-Chief raised a toast hailing our Armed Forces.
On his visit to the defense lines, the President of Armenia was accompanied by the Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanian, Vicar of the Araratian Patriarchal Diocese Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan, and publicist Zory Balayan.
