President Serzh Sargsyan visited the Embassy of China in Yerevan
On the occasion of China’s national holiday – 60th anniversary of the creation of the People’s Republic of China, President Serzh Sargsyan visited today the Embassy of China in Yerevan.
The President of Armenia congratulated the Chinese Ambassador and conveyed warm greetings to the President of China, Hu Jintao, the leadership and the people of China, wishing them further success and prosperity.
Serzh Sargsyan noted that it was remarkable that the anniversary of the country’s creation was being celebrated by the impressive achievements in the economic and social areas. “We are greatly interested in strengthening and deepening our relations with China and will do our best to further promote our relations,” the President of Armenia stressed.
Serzh Sargsyan and the Ambassador of China discussed also the possibilities of expanding the economic and trade relations between the two countries, participation of Armenia in Shanghai Expo 2010, and issues related to enhancement of the Chinese investments in the Armenian economy.
