Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the President of the Armenian General Benevolent Union Berj Sedrakian.
The President of Armenia hailed the Union’s involvement in resolving all-Armenian issues and said that it was always gratifying to hear about new undertakings.
AGBU President Berj Sedrakian told the President of Armenia about the organization’s ongoing and forthcoming programs.
The two sides spoke also about the recent developments in the Armenian-Turkish dialogue.
According to Berj Sedrakian, apparently the Armenian General Benevolent Union cannot be indifferent towards national and political issues and is following the process closely. He said the AGBU supports the latest Protocols on normalization of the relations between Armenia and Turkey and attaches importance to the fact that they do not contain any preconditions.
