The newly appointed Ambassador of Venezuela presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan
Today, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Hugo Jose Garcia Hernandez (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.
Congratulating the Ambassador on his nomination, the President of Armenia expressed hope that during his tenure the Ambassador would bring a significant contribution to the development of relations between the two countries.
During the ensuing conversation the two sides discussed the possibilities of the Armenian-Venezuelian cooperation in different areas and issues related to the creation of the corresponding legal field. They also stressed the importance of a more active cooperation in international structures.
President Sargsyan hailed the decision of the Parliament of Venezuela to recognize the Armenian Genocide which was adopted four years ago.
