At the invitation of the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan the President of Croatia, Stjepan Mesic arrived to Armenia
Last night at the invitation of the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan the President of Croatia, Stjepan Mesic arrived to Armenia. This is the first official visit of the President of Croatia to our country.
The visit is aimed at strengthening the intergovernmental relations, setting priorities and identifying main issues for the economic cooperation between the two countries, and enhancing scientific and cultural relations between Armenia and Croatia.
On May 22, at the Presidential Office there took place the official ceremony of welcoming the President of Croatia which was followed by a private meeting of Serzh Sargsyan and Stjepan Mesic. Later, the negotiations were continued in the extended format. After the negotiations the parties signed a number of intergovernmental documents. The Presidents of Armenia and Croatia gave a joint press conference.
