Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, Yuri Chayka.
The two sides hailed the current level of cooperation between the law enforcing bodies of the two countries and underscored the importance of the Memorandum signed today by the Prosecutors General of Armenia and Russia.
The President of Armenia and the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation concurred that the implementation of the priorities set in the Memorandum would improve activities of the law enforcement bodies, provide for higher efficiency for solving criminal cases, ensure better protection of the rights and liberties of individuals and citizens, enhance corruption prevention, fight against terrorism, etc.
