President Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting of the National Security Council
The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting of the National Security Council to discuss the outcome of the unofficial summit of the Heads of State held last week in Kazakhstan, as well as to decide on the preliminary works for the implementation of the reached agreements.
At the summit it was decided to establish a 10 billion USD special Fund for the mitigation of the consequences of the global and financial crises, as well as to create a rapid response force in the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. With this regard the President of Armenia instructed the heads of relevant agencies and structures to conduct a detailed study, to present expert opinion, and to outline steps stemming from the agreements reached in Kazakhstan and set priorities for their implementation.
