President Serzh Sargsyan received the world absolute boxing champion in super flyweight category Vik Darchinian
Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the world absolute boxing champion in super flyweight category Vik Darchinian.
Congratulating him on the occasion of winning the title in a spectacular fight, the President of Armenia stressed that “a victory in the international sporting or cultural event, or any other area brings great recognition to the country and our people, and fills with pride every Armenian.”
In his turn Vik Darchinian congratulated the President of Armenia with Armenia’s success in the World chess tournament and said that he has arrived to Armenia to participate at the commemoration events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the 1988 earthquake.
The world champion talked to Serzh Sargsyan about his upcoming plans and informed that his next fight would probably take place on February 7, 2009.
