President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received the Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of China to Armenia, Hong Jiuyin
Today President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received the Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of China to Armenia, Hong Jiuyin.
The President of Armenia expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended to the delegation of Armenia in Beijing during the XXIX Summer Olympic Games. According to Serzh Sargsyan, the people and Government of China did every possible thing so that not only the athletes but also hundreds of thousand of fans would admire the exceptionally high level of organization of the games. President Sargsyan stressed in particular outstanding hospitality of the Chinese people, their consideration and readiness to assist everyone.
Stressing the excellent performance of the Armenian athletes during the Olympic Games, the President of Armenia highlighted the importance of attention for sports and noted that along with the economic rise more and more resources become available for the development of sports.
According to the Ambassador of China, that huge sport event was a great celebration for China, and the Government of China spared no effort to conduct it on the highest level.
The parties spoke also about the prospects for further development of bilateral relations and stressed the importance of accelerating the cooperation pace. The Ambassador of China said that his country attaches great importance to the relations with Armenia and that the Chinese side is confident that our bilateral relations have great potential and great future.
