Today President Serzh Sargsyan received Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and his delegation.
The President of Armenia expressed satisfaction with the dynamically developing relations between the two countries and noted that recently mutual visits and cooperation on different levels have become quite active.
“Armenia has always been striving to have friendly relations with the Arab world including the countries of the Persian Gulf and that aspiration has historical roots,” the President of Armenia stressed.
Serzh Sargsyan hailed the impressive achievements of the United Arab Emirates accomplished in a short period of time.
Stressing the great potential for further development of bilateral relations, President Sargsyan spoke about the importance of a full realization of the existing potential. According to the President, the very fact that during the last six months the turnover between the two states almost doubled testifies to the fact that businesses of Armenia and UAE have been working more actively.
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah expressed gratitude for the assistance which companies of his country receive in Armenia and expressed confidence and cooperation and assistance would continue.
Underscoring readiness to further expand relations with Armenia, the Crown Prince said, “Our vision is very clear: we are striving to create the atmosphere of friendship, stability and economic growth and along the way to cooperate with the countries which have the same vision, same objectives and which are fulfilling the same mission.”
The two sides spoke about the projects implemented in the areas of tourism and mining and noted that these projects are on a strong footing and have serious prospects for expansion. Stressing the importance of foreign investments, President Sargsyan said that for Armenia they are not just business but also new work experience, new quality and new culture.
The President of Armenia assured that the Government of Armenia would fully support the implementation of already existing investment projects.
