Today President Serzh Sargsyan received the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Nikolay Bordjuzha.
At the regular session of the Council of CSTO in the upcoming September, Armenia will assume the chairmanship of the Organization. With this regard the parties discussed the priorities of the CSTO in that period of time, problems faced by the Organization and the means to address them.
The two sides spoke also about the activities of the governing bodies and noted in particular that soon Armenia will be hosting the meetings of the CSTO Council of Ministers of Defense and the Committee Secretaries of National Security Council.
The parties spoke also about the Roubezh-2008 military exercises which are starting tomorrow.
