Today President Serzh Sargsyan met with a group of archeologists.
Participants to the meeting discussed issues pertaining to the development of archeology in Armenia and possibilities of implementing educational programs in that area. It was stressed that archeology in Armenia needs special attention of the state.
In was also mentioned that during the construction works it is necessary to conduct archeological research and provided for conservation measures. Modernization of the area’s administration was recognized a pending priority.
