Today President Serzh Sarkissian invited singer Sirousho, who took the fourth prestigious place at the Eurovision 2008, to a meeting.
For a praiseworthy presentation of the Armenian singing art Sirousho was presented with the Presidential Commendation.
Presenting the Commendation, Serzh Sarkissian said that the fourth place at such a prestigious contest is a great success for Armenia. The President of Armenia expressed gratitude to Sirousho for her impressive performance, for duly presenting Armenia and upholding our honor, which is a significant contribution to making Armenia more recognizable.
Sirousho said that she received great support from Armenia and Diapora. She added that the song presented by Armenia was much enjoyed not only by the Armenians but also by the foreigners. She also received a number of work proposals.
