RA First Lady Rita Sargsyan was hosted by the First Lady of Lebanon Vafaa Suleiman

First Lady of Armenia Rita Sargsyan, in the framework of the official visit of President Serzh Sargsyan to Lebanon, on November 26 was hosted by the First Lady of Lebanon Vafaa Suleiman.

The First Ladies of Armenia and Lebanon visited a unique creation of nature which is considered to be the Eighth Miracle of the World the Jeita Grotto complex. Rita Sargsyan and Vafaa Suleiman visited the Bird’s Nest Armenian orphanage, met with the pupils, and familiarized with the existing conditions. Rita Sargsyan visited also the tomb of the founder of the orphanage, the Danish Countess Maria Yacobsen, laid flowers and paid tribute to her memory. Accompanied by the First Lady of Lebanon Vafaa Suleiman, the First Lady of Armenia Rita Sargsyan visited also Saint Gayane and Saint John-Mark churches and the Museum of Wax Figures.
