Working visit of President Serzh Sargsyan to the Republic of Poland

Today, in Warsaw President Serzh Sargsyan met with the Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Bernard Fassier (France), Robert Bradtke (US), Igor Popov (Russia) and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk.

Discussed were issues related to the current stage of the NK peace process. The parties spoke also about the details of the upcoming visit of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs to the region.

In the afternoon of September 29, President Serzh Sargsyan, who is in Poland on a working visit, met with the Prime Minister of Finland Jyrki Katainen.

The President of Armenia and Prime Minister of Finland discussed issues pertaining to the development of the Armenian-Finn relations and expansion of cooperation in different areas. Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen noted that reforms conducted in Armenia are impressive.

The parties spoke also about the development of cooperation in international structures.

On September 30, in Warsaw President Sargsyan participated at the second Eastern Partnership Summit.

On September 30, in Warsaw President Serzh Sargsyan met with the EU High Commissioner for Foreign Relations and Security Issues Catherine Ashton.

The Parties discussed a wide range of issues pertaining to the Armenia-EU cooperation. They also discussed the process of negotiations on the Association Agreement. Catherine Ashton said that the EU would provide comprehensive assistance to the reforms successfully implemented in Armenia.

At the meeting discussed were also regional issues, as well as the NK peace process. The EU High Commissioner for Foreign Relations and Security Issues underscored that the OSCE Minsk Group is the only format for the resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the European Union supports the settlement process in the framework of the Minsk Group.
