Serzh Sargsyan attended the final round of the Best Sporting Family-2011 competition
President Serzh Sargsyan visited today the main sport arena of Tsakhkadzor which hosted the finals of the annual Best Sporting Family-2011 competition for the Presidential Award.
Best sporting families from Yerevan, the marzes and Artsakh, who have successfully overcome previous rounds of the competition, took part in the finals. The Best Sporting Family contest, which is held for the eighth time in a row, this year has been organized in three age groups competing in six sports.
The President of Armenia congratulated the winners and all participants. According to the President, the important thing is that in our country the number of the families adopting a healthy life style is on the rise and this contest is gradually becoming more and more universal.
“We all should do our best to keep our families strong. Strong families mean strong society, a healthy family is a basis of a healthy society,” President Sargsyan said.
The President awarded the winners with certificates, money awards and souvenirs.
