President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe on the national holiday - Independence Day.

"Armenia attaches high importance to expanding relations with Sri Lanka based on mutual respect and trust, and strengthening cooperation in various spheres.

I am certain that through joint efforts it will be possible to realize the existing potential of cooperation between the two countries for the benefit of our nations," the message particularly says.
