President Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulation letter to the President of Romania Klaus Werner Iohannis

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulation letter to the President of Romania Klaus Werner Iohannis on the national holiday, the Great Union Day of Romania.

The letter reads:
"I am confident that the relations between Armenia and Romania, anchored on mutual respect and trust, shared civilizational and democratic values, will further develop through joint efforts, contributing to the expansion and further strengthening of effective cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Armenia highly values the humanitarian support provided by Romania to our compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.

I am hopeful that Romania will continue its efforts aimed at establishing peace, stability and security in the South Caucasus, especially in this challenging period for Armenia.

I wish you sound health and success, and peace and welfare to the friendly people of Romania."
